01/03/11 AM WORSHIP... THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IN 2011.

01/03/11 AM WORSHIP... THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IN 2011.

The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink.
The Kingdom of heaven in within (among) you.
The Kingdom was foreshadowed in the Garden.
The Kingdom was seen in the Theocratic rule of God in Israel and Judah.
The Kingdom was experienced in (among) those who live under His Lordship in the Church today.
The Kingdom was will be established at His return for the Millennial Reign.

PASSAGE AND NOTES...
In Isaiah 6 we see the model for personally entering the Kingdom of Heaven.

Isaiah 6:1-11
(1) In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
DLG notes...
Isaiah stood outside the Holy Place and Holy of Holies, probably near the Altar of Sacrifice, looking up into the Temple proper. We all need to come by way of the Altar of Sacrifice, where Jesus died to make atonement for the sins of the world
Isaiah looked up, into the Temple area. The Temple has both spiritual and governmental implications. God is both Lord (King) and God. Remember, The Lord is our Lawgiver, our Judge, our King and our Savior (Is. 33:22). He is the Creator/King, the Savior/Sovereign, the Righteous/Ruler. Those who are part of His Kingdom recognize this combined role of Messiah/Master.

We all need to have a spiritual encounter with God that exalts Him above all others and shows us His glory.

(2) Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
(3) And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
DLG notes...
This indicates the location of Isaiah and his view of God at the time of his vision. We need to start at the Altar of Sacrifice and look into the Inner Sanctum of the Holiest Place. Too many are only interested in a passing and careless view of the Sacrifice, but are not interested in entering His priesthood and serving Him in the beauty of holiness.

(4) And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
DLG notes...
God is the God of power and He reveals His power to His Own people. Few have ever seen the posts of the door moved. Those who tarry, those who worship, those who surrender are given access to such wonders.

(5) Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
DLG notes...
Each and every person must have the personal realization of his own unworthiness, of his own need to be forgiven, to be cleansed, purified. Our hearts and our lips need the sanctifying work of God. Our conduct and conversation needs to be realigned and dedicated to God. Our view of ourselves becomes clear as our view of Him is made clear.

(6) Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
(7) And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
DLG notes...
God purified the heart and life of Isaiah. We all need God to take coals from the Altar and touch our lips. Our words need to be constantly dedicated to glorifying God.

(8) Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
DLG notes...
When we are truly and fully touched by God we yield our entire life to Him. We become compassionate for the lost and passionate about reaching them with the message of salvation. We surrender claim to ownership of our time, talents and treasures. We cry out, Here am I, send me.

(9) And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
(10) Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
DLG notes...
God will send us to a lost world, to a blind and deaf world. He will send us to people who do not see and who will not see. He will send us to people who will reject us and despise us.

(11) Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
DLG notes...
Our mission is never finished in this lifetime. We never complete the task. We never win the world through the preaching of the gospel. We must proclaim Him to a people who will not hear, see, repent and we must proclaim Him throughout this entire lifetime.
