01/31/11 CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY

Political, governmental, economic, military, academic and philosophical solutions to problems rooted in anti-Christian agenda is not only futile, it is counter productive.

The Right Side of History is the Gospel Side. USA should never hamper the Gospel. But it does, more and more.

Christians, wake up.

Zechariah 4:6
(6) Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

When will Christians realize it is not our job to "Democratize" the world, but to "Evangelize" the world? Democratizing is a human effort to save the world through humanistic politics. Social and political freedom come as a result of spiritual submission to God. Anti-Christian regimes cannot be free. They need Jesus.

Yes, the USA (as any country) has the right, the responsibility to protect its people from wicked people. But we have seen the USA side with godless regimes and undermine Christianity with politics, finances, militarism and diplomacy for a long time. It has happened with Democrats and Republicans, Reagan and Clintons, Bush's and Obama.

Modern/Western Christianity often confuses the Stars and Stripes with the Bright and Morning Star, Who took the Stripes as our perfect sacrifice.

The USA is the greatest country to ever exist on the face of the earth, because it was founded on basic Christian principles, but it is not the Kingdom of God and it does not deserve our ultimate commitment. Only God deserves a person's unrestricted commitment, devotion and service.

Those who put Jesus first will be considered to be unpatriotic and un-American.
