Two responses to Christian persecution abroad
1- Praise for religious freedom
2- Disappointment in USA's spiritual impotence and apathy.
Most people do not understand the Biblical principle that the State, the Church and Israel occupy different places in the plan of God today. To confuse their position is to be in conflict with God's word of revelation and work of redemption.

The State is given the sword of steel to punish the wicked and protect the righteous; the Church is given the Sword of the Spirit to wage spiritual warfare, setting the captives free; Israel is the keystone to the global and end time puzzle.
The State is given the sword to do God's business of human government, according to God's standards. The State has no right to wage war against Bible believing Christians or oppress them, either in this country or abroad.
The Church is given the Keys to the Kingdom, to open the Gospel of Peace and proclaim the Prince of Peace. His kingdom is not of this world, therefore we do not take up arms to promote any earthly powers, nor do we resist the power that God has given to the State to protect the righteous and punish the wicked.
Israel is not saved, but is in God's plan and will be saved. To conspire against Israel is to resist the plan of God. Find the enemies of Israel and you find the enemies of God. Jews need salvation through Christ (just like everyone else) and one day Israel will come to Messiah.
