Few people are ever part of a local church where the pastor and leadership are of one mind; where the majority of congregation loves each other as Christ loves them; where the leadership respects the body, and the congregation trusts the leadership. When it happens, it is like sitting together in heavenly places, and victory reigns in every hardship. It is sooo Biblical.
But just like a good marriage, it comes about through personal sacrifice and self denial. It is not an accident, nor is it the concerted effort of fleshly intentions. It is a miracle of love and grace.
Remember, Jesus said that people would know that we are His disciples because we LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
How sad that most believers never experience this supernatural relationship. How said that the watching world seldom sees this spiritual unity in a normal and healthy church.
Tomorrow we all get to come together for another opportunity to pursue, enter and dwell in this kind of relationship. Y'all have a great Lord's Day.
