A long time ago I heard someone say, "Conceit is an ailment that makes other people sick instead of the person who has it."
A long time ago I heard someone say, "Conceit is an ailment that makes other people sick instead of the person who has it."
Pride, conceit, arrogance, haughtiness, thinking more highly of self than one should, will destroy a right relationship with friends, family and God.
Yet, the puffed-up one thinks he/she is right and everyone else is wrong. The boastful cannot be taught. The longer a person has pride, the stronger it has him.
