09/02/11 TAKING NOTES

I am thinking there must be three reasons parishioners do not take notes during preaching/teaching.

1- The preacher/teacher does not say anything noteworthy.

2- The parishioner does not care what the speaker has to say.

3- Whatever else you want to put here... maybe the parishioner cannot write or whatever.

It was suggested, and it was a very good suggestion,

Maybe the listener is so caught up in the message that they don't have time to take notes.

My point is, there are times when there should be note taking.
